DE2 game.cfg - some vars ignored?
I'm running DE v2 build 1972 on Windows 7, with the standard registered Heretic game + the jHRP2 pack.
For some reason my weapons are all shifted way down, so I have been altering the config var "rend-hud-fov-shift" and that works great. But for some reason DE isn't saving the value back to the game.cfg file, and if I edit the file manually DE ignores it. But I could swear that it used to work and I didn't have to alter that var manually every time I ran DE!
I will test some other vars to see if they save or not.
Am I missing something obvious?
PS: I have both DE v1 and v2 installed here, so could it be a conflict there?
