Particle Rendering

I've set up my render options to disable all filtering/smoothing for sprites and textures, since I prefer a clean pixelated look for DOOM.

But I can't find any option to disable the filtering for particle effects such as blood splatters. I am missing something, or is the particle renderer hard coded?

  • The particles use a set of textures that are unaffected by the usual filtering/smoothing options. One would have to specifically create a set of "pixelated" particle effects to get that kind of a visual end result.
  • This reminds me that I made this RFE almost half a year ago :)
